P@SS is a parent run group which organises fundraising events for the school on a voluntary basis.
Our aim is to use the funds we raise to provide ‘extras’ for the school such as Christmas gifts for each child, Year 6 leaving presents or even bigger items such as the activity trail in the Key Stage 2 playground.
We think that this group will work really well if we have at least one parent from each year group.
If you want to find out a little bit more about what we do and if you can help, then please speak to Mr Cahill, Mrs Elliott or our current P@SS volunteers.
Past Fundraising Events:
Easter Fun Day
Thank you to all of those parents and carers who willingly gave up their time to put on an Easter fun day for the children. There were some fantastic entries in the decorate an egg competition, face painting and delicious buns to enjoy.
All of this fun also managed to raise £186.46 for school funds. Thank you again.
In celebration of Valentine’s Day we raised a fantastic £154.30 in our ‘Dress in Red’ Day and the kids really did look fantastic!
And to top it off selling the Valentine Cake entries raised another fantastic £37.60 from selling some very yummy cake slices.
It was really hard to choose a winner as they all looked fantastic but our judge Laura’s Cakes & Bakes picked Chloe’s cake due to the very detailed decoration. Well done Chloe!
Xmas Fair and Secret Santa
I’m sure you will all join me in saying an enormous ‘thank you’ to all of those parents/carers who gave up so much of their time to run ‘Santa Shop’, buy and wrap the Christmas gifts for the children, organise attendance prizes and host a very successful Christmas Fair. All of their tireless work raised an amazing £1371.11.
Friday 24th October 2014
A massive thank you to all of those parents, carers, friends and family who gave up their time on the last day of half term to paint faces, spray hair, sell buns and run the Hallowe’en disco. The children had a great time and P@SS raised £639 which all adds to our I-Pad fund.
After the very successful Summer Fair last year P@SS released some of the money raised (£750) to purchase new lunchtime equipment. The children are now enjoying new chalk boards, giant Connect Four, skipping ropes, etc.
